Preventing tiny scratches or swirls is one of the biggest challenges in caring for your paint. These are caused by pieces of dirt and dust that are rubbed over the car's paint layer during washing; the Grit helps prevent this.
The Grit can simply be placed in the bottom of your bucket. Every time you run your wash mitt through the bucket for more suds, rub it against the Grit as well. This helps remove the dirt and the Grit Guard also ensures that the dirt stays at the bottom of the bucket.
